stories that move

I watch this and my soul always wants more. Whether it’s the narratives found in Scripture or testimonies found on the back of cardboard boxes, I long for the beauty found in transparent redeeming stories. Now I’m not sure what resonates with you concerning these awesome testimonies but one thing I absolutely love is that it’s got every kind of story: divorce, bitterness, porn, atheist turn God lover, thief turn pastor… and I guess that’s why I dig the way this church did it. At the end of the day it’s about people; it’s about meeting them where they are and doing the greater work by simply placing them into the loving hands and feet of Christ.

At the end of the day, we just have to ask ourselves this single most important question: What are we giving and doing to help people get to Jesus?
